Held on Saturdays during Summer.

Presented by Alexander County, the Summer Concert Series is held at the Alexander County Courthouse Park Rotary Stage located in Downtown Taylorsville. Shows begin at 7:00 PM and there's FREE ADMISSION. Enjoy!

Held on the first week of December.

 Hometown Christmas begins the first Thursday in December at Alexander County Courthouse Park! The tree lighting is at 5:30 followed by lots of fun with free carriage rides, music, food, Santa, and more!

Rocky Face Park
Vertical Mile Challenge

Held each Summer in June.

The Vertical Mile Challenge Trail Race is not your average 16+ mile race. The course is approximately a 2-mile loop beginning and ending at the bottom of the rock face, directly behind the parking lot at Rocky Face Recreational Area.
